Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who is currently visiting Iran, will convey messages to Tehran regarding the nuclear negotiations, specifically relating to the thorny issue of Lebanon, sources told Al-Arabiya television.
He is on a mission to persuade the Iranian delegation not to postpone their participation in the talks with the United States, the sources said.
The sources added that a high-level Pakistani delegation will travel to Switzerland if Tehran agrees to participate in the negotiations.
They confirmed that the main sticking point in the negotiations between Iran and the United States is Lebanon, and that the Iranian delegation has threatened to withdraw from the negotiations if Israel continues its attacks in Lebanon.
