Iran tells Hezbollah, Berri that ending war, withdrawal are priorities in talks with US
Speaker Nabih Berri and Hezbollah’s leadership have received a “new message” from the Iranian leadership, which was sent on Sunday, al-Akhbar newspaper reported on Monday.
“Tehran informed the Qatari and Pakistani mediators that ending the war on Lebanon and completing the Israeli withdrawal are priorities that are equal in importance to the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as implementing the memorandum of understanding signed with the United States,” informed sources told the daily.
