Baabda strongly denies 'rumors' about possible Aoun-Netanyahu meeting
Baabda sources on Thursday categorically denied rumors circulating about a possible meeting between President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stressing that this matter is “completely off the table, even if they happen to be in Washington at the same time.”
The sources added, in remarks to Al-Jadeed TV, that Aoun's visit to Washington on Saturday will be brief and limited to a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, in addition to some meetings with officials in the U.S. administration.
