Fadlallah says Lebanon can't be separated from region, Iran not replacing Lebanese state
MP Hassan Fadlallah, a member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, stated Thursday that "the strength, steadfastness and sacrifices of the Resistance -- combined with the resilience of its people and the powerful regional equation shaped by the Islamic Republic of Iran -- are what will ultimately compel the Israeli enemy to withdraw from our land, enable our people to return, and facilitate the reconstruction of destroyed villages and towns."
"No matter how hard some may try to separate Lebanon from the region's situation, it is impossible to do so, as the issues are deeply interconnected," Fadlallah emphasized.
"This does not mean Iran is replacing the Lebanese state; the Islamic Republic of Iran has urged Lebanese authorities to negotiate on their own behalf while benefiting from the umbrella of the (U.S.-Iran) Memorandum of Understanding. This pathway remains open -- despite the various complications that have arisen -- and Lebanon must capitalize on it,” Fadlallah added.
“We place great hope in this process, and we consistently hear from the Islamic Republic of Iran that Lebanon will remain the top priority in any Iranian-American agreement," the legislator reassured.
