Hezbollah denies sending military experts to Yemen

Hezbollah denied Wednesday allegations by Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council regarding the presence of Hezbollah experts in the country.

The group dismissed claims of its involvement in training, arming, and military operations for Ansar Allah as "completely baseless."

Hezbollah said Yemenis are fully capable of defending their country without foreign support, adding that internal dialogue is the only way to safeguard Yemen's unity and stability and resolve disagreements.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned Hezbollah's interference in Yemen's internal affairs after he met with President Joseph Aoun in Baabda.

He also warned against plunging Lebanon into a new war if the Middle East conflict resumes, in an apparent message to Hezbollah.
