Explosion Hits Liquor Shop in Sarafand
An explosion targeted on Thursday a liquor store in the southern town of Sarafand, causing only material damage, media reports said.
According to LBCI, the store belongs to Hassan Assaili.
An army unit swiftly arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area as an investigation was opened into the incident.
In November, twin bomb blasts targeted a hotel and a liquor store in the southern city of Tyre, causing extensive damage but no casualties.
Another two liquor shops were targeted in southern villages in July and others have been forced to shut down.
