Bejjeh Basketball Team Captain Dies after Sustaining Injury in Car Accident

Bejjeh Basketball team captain Roni Abou Jaoude passed away Tuesday after sustaining severe injuries and entering a coma that lasted for more than a week, the Voice of Lebanon of radio (100.5) said.

Abou Jaoude was severely injured in a car accident on February 7, and was rushed to the hospital. He was admitted to the intensive care unit suffering from brain hemorrhage.

The 26-year-old captain was a former player of Sagesse.
