عاملة أجنبية تلقي بنفسها من الطابق السابع في الضاحية الجنوبية

حاولت عاملة أجنبية الإنتحار بعدما قفزت من الطابق السابع من أحد الأبنية في شارع هادي نصرالله في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت.
وأفادت قناة "الجديد" أن "فرق الإسعاف والقوى الأمنية حضرت فورا إلى المكان".
وبحسب الفيديو الذي نشرته القناة عينها عاين فريق الإسعاف الخادمة وعمل على تضميد ما يتبين أنه جروح كبيرة في رجلها.
وتجمهر المواطنون حول الخادمة وسط أصوات سيارة إسعاف ومواطنين يسألون بعضهم "ماذا فعلت بنفسها".
وهذه ليست الحالة الأولى التي تقدم فيها عاملة في لبنان على الإنتحار ففي 14 آذار عام 2012 انتحرت الخادمة اليم ديشازا (34 عاما) شنقا داخل في مشفى دير الصليب النفسي كانت الشرطة نقلتها اليه، بعد تعرضها للضرب من المسؤول عن توظيفها.
في الشهر نفسه اعلنت ثماني منظمات من المجتمع المدني ان على الحكومة أن تتحرك سريعاً لإصلاح نظام الكفيل لعاملات المنازل، وأن تتبنى قانوناً للعمل يحميهن ويتصدى لارتفاع معدلات الانتهاكات والوفيات بين عاملات المنازل الوافدات الى لبنان.
وفي 23 آذار الفائت أوقفت قوى الامن رجلاً وامرأة في الكورة الشمالية بجرم اغتصاب عاملة أثيوبية. والرجل هو صاحب مكتب التوظيف الذي اغتصبها على مسمع من السكرتيرة التي كانت موجودة بالغرفة المجاورة، وهددها بعدم إخبار مخدومتها بما حصل معها داخل المكتب.
وتستخدم العائلات اللبنانية ما يقدر بمئتي ألف عاملة منازل أجنبية، بالأساس من سريلانكا وأثيوبيا والفلبين ونيبال. وتستبعد عاملات المنازل من قانون العمل ويخضعن لقواعد تنظيم الهجرة التقييدية، التي تستند إلى نظام كفالة أصحاب العمل للعمال، مما يعرض العاملات لخطر الاستغلال، ويصعب عليهن ترك أصحاب العمل المسيئين.
وصوّتت الحكومة لصالح اتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 189 الخاصة بظروف العمل اللائقة لعاملات المنازل، وقد تم إقرارها في حزيران 2011، لكن لم تتخذ خطوات بعد للتصديق على الاتفاقية أو الالتزام بها.

This is happening all over Lebanon. It's truly a tragedy. These helpers leave their homes and families to come work for the women who spend their whole time at Beauty Salons, Beauty Clinics, Narguileh and Coffee places. If these supposedly housewives would take care of their children we would not have a nasty generation of useless kids.
Politicians take it out on the people. Men take it out on the women and women take it out on the maids.

As a matter of fact, I was filling the car with gas early in the morning today and found a man and an Ethiopian helper walking a toddler nearby. Guess where the wife was? Tons of beauty salons in the street.
This is a common scene in my neighborhood.

The foreign workers here are treated like sub-humans. Most of the population here is so racist, it's mind-boggling in the 21st century.

Lebanon needs to ban foreign workers from working here because it is not safe for them. There are millions of lebanese living in europe and elsewhere who live without having a worker in their house slaving for them so why is it that lebanese in lebanon cant live without a "slave"? Ethiopia and other countries need to ban their citizens from working in a country that is this dangerous.
