لم يعد قتال حزب الله الى جانب قوات النظام السوري في الأرض السورية المجاورة، في مناطق نفوذ حزب الله في شرق لبنان، سراً محظوراً. فاللبنانيون المؤيدون للحزب فخورون بانجازات مقاتليهم الذين يدافعون عن الارض والمقامات الدينية الخاصة بالشيعة، بحسب ما يقولون.
في مدينة بعلبك ذات الغالبية الشيعية تبكي عائلة حسين حبيب، القائد الميداني في حزب الله، ابنها الذي قتل في ريف القصير في سوريا في معارك مع المجموعات المعارضة المسلحة منذ حوالى أسبوعين، وتنتظر تسلم جثته لتدفنه.
الزوجة وافراد العائلة القريبون يرفضون التحدث الى الصحافيين، وتبدو عليهم علامات التأثر الشديد. وتقول فاطمة حبيب (30 سنة)، ابنة عم حسين، "نتعذب بسبب عدم تسلم جثته التي لا تزال مع المسلحين".
وتشير الى ان حبيب من مواليد قرية في ريف القصير ومن سكان بعلبك، "ذهب ليدافع عن اهله وبيته". وتضيف "فقدنا عزيزا والوضع صعب لكن اذا احتاج الامر شخصا آخر من العائلة، لا مشكلة في ان يذهب ويستشهد".
وحسين حبيب متزوج وله ولدان. وهو معروف بانه من كبار مقاتلي حزب الله. لكن العائلة تؤكد انه كان يقاتل في اطار لجان الحماية الشعبية الموالية للنظام السوري.
على بعد كيلومترات من بعلبك، عند مدخل بلدة القصر في منطقة الهرمل التي تعرضت أخيراً لقصف من مواقع مقاتلي المعارضة السورية في الجانب الآخر من الحدود، ترتفع صور الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد.
ويقول احد سكان البلدة ابو فادي كنعان مستعيدا العبارة التي يطلقها النظام السوري على مقاتلي المعارضة "الارهابيون اضطهدوا الاف اللبنانيين الموجودين في قرى سورية حدودية مع لبنان، فطلب هؤلاء من المقاومة (حزب الله) معونة للدفاع عن ارضهم وعرضهم".
ويضيف وهو يراقب بمنظار من على سطح منزله المطل على منطقة القصير دخانا اسود يتصاعد نتيجة غارة من طائرة حربية "نحن نحمي منازلنا في هذه القرى (...) نعم نحن نرسل أولادنا للدفاع عنها، ومستعدون لخوض المعركة".
رواية ابو فادي وعائلة حبيب هي الرواية الرسمية لحزب الله التي كان اول من اعلنها الامين العام للحزب السيد حسن نصرالله في تشرين الاول الماضي.
وقال نصرالله في حينه ان بعض المنتمين الى حزبه من اللبنانيين المقيمين في قرى سورية ذات غالبية شيعية على الحدود "اشتروا السلاح واتخذوا قرار الدفاع عن انفسهم واعراضهم واملاكهم في مواجهة مجموعات مسلحة (...) اعتدت عليهم وهاجمتهم"، مشيرا الى ان لا علاقة للحزب بقرارهم.
لكن عشرات الجثامين التي تنقل من سوريا لتدفن في لبنان في مناطق تعتبر معاقل لحزب الله في الجنوب والبقاع (شرق)، تؤكد ان مقاتلي الحزب ليسوا من سكان القرى الشيعية السورية فحسب.
قبل المأتم، ينعي حزب الله عادة "الشهيد الذي قضى أثناء تاديته واجبه الجهادي"، من دون تفاصيل اضافية.
لكن "السر" لم يعد سرا. ويقول سكان بقاعيون وجنوبيون لوكالة "فرانس برس" رافضين الكشف عن اسمائهم ان عددا كبيرا من عناصر حزب الله المدربين يذهبون الى سوريا وهم "من المتفرغين لدى الحزب"، يختفون فجأة لاسابيع او اشهر، ثم يعودون (...) او لا يعودون.
ويؤكدون ان هؤلاء يقاتلون خصوصا في منطقتي القصير ومقام السيدة زينب الشيعي قرب دمشق.
ويقدر الاستاذ الجامعي وواضع كتاب "دولة حزب الله" وضاح شرارة عدد عناصر الحزب الذين يقاتلون في القصير بما بين 800 الى 1200.
ولا يكترث ابو فادي للانتقادات التي يتعرض لها الحزب حول تغيير وجهة سلاحه من "مقاومة" اسرائيل الى الدفاع عن النظام السوري.
ويقول "العين على اسرائيل (...) وهؤلاء (المعارضون السوريون) صهاينة ايضا (...). لنا الحق بالدفاع عن اللبنانيين اينما كانوا، وخصوصا اذا كانوا شيعة. هذه تصفية لنا".
الا ان مقاتلي المعارضة السورية لا يستسيغون ما يسمونه "تدخل حزب الله في الشؤون السورية الداخلية". وقد تبنوا قصف مناطق في الهرمل ردا على هذا التدخل ما تسبب بمقتل شخصين.
على مدخل مدينة الهرمل التي تبعد نحو 15 كيلومترا عن الحدود السورية، يقف علي شمص (54 عاما) على سطح مبنى من ثلاث طبقات قيد الانشاء، حاملا بيده شظايا صاروخ اخترق المبنى الذي ينوي الانتقال للاقامة فيه مع عائلته، واحدث اضرارا بالغة.
ويطالب شمص الدولة اللبنانية بحماية المنطقة، و"اذا لم تقم بواجبها، المقاومة والناس جاهزون للدفاع عن انفسهم".
ويحذر خبراء من جر لبنان، البلد الصغير ذي التركيبة السياسية والطائفية الهشة، الى اتون الحرب السورية، بسبب تورط حزب الله العسكري في النزاع الذي رد عليه بعض رجال الدين السنة المتطرفين بدعوة اللبنانيين الى الجهاد ضد النظام السوري.
على الطريق المؤدي الى بعلبك، ترتفع صور "الشهيد" حسين حبيب ولافتات كتب عليها "نعزي صاحب الزمان باستشهاد القائد الميداني حسين حبيب"، او "تحية الى القائد البطل حسين حبيب".
لكن نجل حبيب البالغ من العمر سبع سنوات يفتقد الاب لا "البطل". ردا على سؤال من والدته التي تساله ان كان فخورا بوالده "الشهيد"، يجيب ببساطة "كنت افضل الا يموت... كنت افضل ان يكون هنا معي".

Why don't we just cut to the chase:
Hezbollah needs act militarily in Syria because its supply lines as well as Bashar's political and military cover are threatened.
If Bashar falls, Hezbollah would be squeezed between three belligerent paries: Israel, the new regime in Syria, and just about half of the lebanese population. Hezbollah can't let that happen, of course, so they need to act.
It is really that simple.

Well FT I don't want him to die. He is Lebanese. I don't want my people to die defending someone else's regime. If he feels the urge to defend Lebanon, he should join our Army and make a career there and hopefully not die at all, but instead provide for his family and send his kids to decent schools, and become a grandfather and see his grandchildren grow.

Les combattants affiliés au Hezbollah et qui se battent actuellement en Syrie se trouvent soit dans le quartier abritant le Mausolée de Sayyeda Zaynab, soit dans les villages Libanais qui se trouvent côté Syrien. la supposition que les Shiites sont plus nombreux que les sunnis est totalement fausse et la difference est actuellement de plus de 65 mille en faveur des sunnis.
et si on tient compte des deces en syrie, chaque jour la difference augmente un peu plus en faveur des sunnis :)

It's a dam shame. I can't understand why people continue to subtract from hizbullah's credibility. They should have lost all of it the moment they sent out armed members to occupy Beirut.
The Syrians & Iranians can only import 3rd generation weaponry from Russia. This doesn't include the fact that the weapons obtained by hizbullah and Syria are transferred from Iran which is undergoing a currency crisis. The latter has decreasing operational capability in defending its own land & most of their investments are in human resources . Additionally, the FSA is starting to be supplied with same tier weaponry & it's just a matter of receiving artillery & anti tank guns & they will be able to hold ground more effectively with lower trade costs. The moment they receive these weapons, Hezbollah's expertise will be roundly diminished & effectively useless. The infrastructure they had in southern Lebanon was the only thing keeping them from getting eradicated by the Israelis
