Hizbullah Ship to Dock in Syria, Fuel to Reach Lebanon in Trucks

The first Iranian fuel shipment will arrive in Lebanon by trucks through Syria “to avoid the sanctions-related complications,” media reports said.

Informed sources said that choosing Syria for the ship docking “has nothing to do with fears of an attack from Israel or the U.S.” but rather for internal considerations and “the unwillingness to implicate any allies.”

On the other hand, the sources indicated that “the shipment will reach a Syrian port and the fuel will be transported by trucks to Lebanon,” stressing that “the priority of distribution will be to hospitals.”

On a separate note, Arab Tawhid Party leader Wiam Wahhab told al-Jadeed TV that the Iranian ship is soon to arrive to Banias – a Syrian city in Tartous Governorate.

He said that “in a few days, the fuel will start arriving in Lebanon,” adding that “the warehouses have been chosen.”

“The market will soon be relieved,” Wahhab assured.

I am sure they will pay taxes and customs as these truck enter Lebanon. This is a sign of the total collapse of what was once know as Lebanon. Thank you Michel Aoun!

Do you guys think that Nasrallah will be using the same tank trucks he uses to smuggle to Syria, the diesel oil and Gaz subsidized by Lebanese treasury, to bring the Iranian diesel oil and Gaz from Syria?

How many trucks will be needed for the whole load of the tanker?
How many trucks will "get lost" en route and end up at Syrian destinations?

“Lebanon’s present and future will remember [tomorrow] as the day when our country formally entered the club of oil states,” President Michel Aoun uttered this line in his speech when he announced on Wednesday the beginning of Lebanon’s oil-drilling operations.
