Raad Slams Presidential Hopeful who 'Cooperated with Israel in 1982'

Head of Hizbullah’s parliamentary bloc MP Mohammed Raad warned Tuesday that some consider “the person who cooperated with the Israeli invasion in 1982” to be “the qualified and eligible candidate for the presidential post,” in apparent jab at Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea.

“They want to return us to the Israeli era after we got rid of it. Their arrogance has reached this extent!” Raad added.

“Despite the pride, dignity and superiority over the enemy, some want to return us to the Israeli era, but this time he is using the Arab stance as an excuse,” the lawmaker want on to say, referring to Geagea.

“During the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982, this person and his camp were against Arabs and they are the ones who wanted to bring the Israelis so that they rule our country Lebanon, but today they have taken all Arabs to their side and they have become with the Israelis,” Raad charged.

As for the upcoming parliamentary elections, the Hizbullah legislator said the issue is not about seats but rather about the “political” implications of these elections. “Will the elections bring a President who would achieve our national sovereignty or a President who would find it easy to sign agreements with the enemy,” Raad added.

Who this foreign agent is kidding. All Lebanese know that Lebanon's No 1 ennemy is the criminal Iran Regime not Israel. Israel would not have built a wall if it wanted to occupy our land. Still waiting for HizbIran to prove Shebaa farms are Lebanese not Syrian. The fact remains Hizbollah has been created, armed, funded and indoctrinated by Suleimani to be used as a bargain and sacrificial lamb for Iranian interests. Hizbollah is by definition a foreign conspirator. All its leaders should be put in prison for treason if any justice left.

There are pictures with aoun shaking hands with an israeli general in 1982. Funny how he and the rest of the iranian party didn't bring that up when they selected the old man for president.

Guys and gals, don’t even bother commenting what a terrorist or southern “Beirut”supporters say…. Sure Israel is our enemy, but it comes 3rd after #1 Iran and #2 Syria. We have bigger priorities right now.

Remember who was throwing rose petals and rice at the Israeli army when they invaded Lebanon , it was the Shia in the south! They were so happy that Israel was coming to deal with Arafat!
Now the same “people” want to liberate Palestine. Mon œil.

Their only objective is to liberate Lebanon from the Lebanese…. And they’re doing quite well people are queuing for a passport.
