Biden, Zelensky discuss US support for Ukraine

President Joe Biden called his Ukrainian counterpart Volodomyr Zelensky Wednesday to update him on "ongoing U.S. support" for Kyiv, the White House said.

Zelensky for his part tweeted that he and Biden had discussed an "additional package of defensive and possible macro-financial aid."

The hour-long conversation came as Washington was reportedly poised to announce the delivery of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of new military equipment to Kyiv.

I conclude Zelensky was a US asset from the beginning, from Maidan in 2014. So this talk should have shown Biden what tatters the foreign policy establishment has been in for years.

A day later, it has come to me that Biden was always behind this US operation in Ukraine, inheriting it from Trump who let it linger after inheriting it from Obama. I refer to the Maidan coup. At the event last week with Obama, Biden mysteriously ended his remarks with "and God bless our troops". I now conclude he was referring to US fighters in Ukraine. Since that time, he seems to have collapsed (yesterday's "invisible handshake"). I think he has quit being a corrupt cop. Now he's just a spokesperson, stands where they tell him, says what they tell him: "sleepwalking it".
