Ukraine Communists, Nationalists Clash on Bolshevik Day

Communist supporters clashed with Ukrainian nationalists in central Kiev on Monday during an unsanctioned rally marking the anniversary of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.

Shoving and shouting broke out when groups of nationalists that promote independence from Russia tried to stop some 1,000 mostly elderly demonstrators from walking down a main street with portraits of Stalin and Lenin.

13 Killed in Vietnam Bus Crash Inferno

At least 13 people were killed and two dozen injured when a bus collided with a lorry and burst into flames in southern Vietnam on Monday, reports said.

The crash happened when the truck, which was travelling towards Ho Chi Minh City, and the passenger bus heading in the opposite direction in Binh Thuan province hit, an online report from Thanh Nien newspaper said.
