Sidon Teacher Finds Her Baby Dead after Forgetting Him inside Car

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

A school teacher in the southern city of Sidon forgot her baby inside the car during the day, and returned hours later to find him dead.

"F. S. finished her work at one of the city's private schools, and when she returned to her car, she was shocked to find that her baby boy was still in the locked vehicle,” the daily An Nahar reported on Tuesday.

An Nahar explained that the teacher “had forgotten” to drop the infant at the daycare, before heading to her workplace.

Upon realizing that her boy has died, the mother had a nervous breakdown that required transferring her to a hospital in Sidon, the same source noted.

Allah yer hammo. And I feel so sorry for the mother too. These kind of things actually happens more often than one could imagine. I have read about various cases from all over the world. Usually connected with forgetting to bring the child to the kindergarden on the way to work. Such a busy life.

Very sad indeed
What a life this woman will have...god help her and heaven has a new angel...the long agony and endless suffering will haunt this teacher till she meets her child again sometimes :-(

Bravo the roar or should i say the miawww
Instead of suggesting measures to support working parents you would rather go back to middle ages

Missing peace 01 April 2014, 21:07

poor thing... you are pathetic... no wonder you love M8 with your backward conservative antiwomen thinking.... poor machoman...

Thumb FlameCatcher 02 April 2014, 14:04

@Roar : "Allow me to remain in my middle ages, where real family values still exist"

By all means, remain in your middle ages. You calling them family "values" does not make them "Valuable".

Family values is about how you educate your children. When your women stay at home and children end up becoming blind sheep fighters for Hezbollah or other Takfiri movements, I wouldn't call this a success.

When children of working parents end up being well educated, with good jobs, doing something positive for their country, this is success.

Our country will never be ruled by children of people with retarded family values. Those will expire and become extinct.

"now peace will tell you 'it's progress!' and rave about how much of a stone age man you are (:"

sure coming from an FPMer whose slogan was "sois belle et vote" hinting women to shut up and vote without thinking, sure i am progressist while you just want women to stay at home , the saudi way! how ironic!!!

aren't you stupid FT, sooooo stupid and you dare lecture others... go and beat your woman if you have one, it's all you can do poor loser.....

Seriously??? I can't believe I'm reading this. Are you still stuck in 1900?! Why should they stay at home? Don't you think women, just like men, have ambitions and dreams and have the full right to pursue a career? Why get college degrees if you want them to end up at home? Why don't men stay home and care for the little ones instead? + In some cases, yes it is for financial reasons; both partners need to work to provide a decent life for their family.

This is a tragic story, most probably an accident, but it has nothing to do with women not caring for their children anymore. Grow up please!

This was an unfortunate accident. It happens in America too many times. It happens with men or women that are dropping the children off. The view that women should go back to staying at home to raise their children is a limited, foolish thought. Women are becoming primary breadwinners for the households and don't think for a minute that women who work are happy to "dump" their children off at daycare. It's probably the hardest decision and most difficult, heart wrenching things we have to do. Yes, we chose as a family unit to have children and we also chose to provide a certain quality of life that requires that both parents work. Just bc you have to work doesn't mean you shouldn't have children. The debate over stay at home moms vs those who work is not a new argument. There are benefits and disadvantages to both and anyone that denies that is an idiot.

working is all right and a must but if your brains cant take 2 things at the time so the priority goes to the baby and nothing else... do what u can handle and to forget your child in the car is beyond stupid..
or may be she should be tested for drugs or heavy alcoholism ..

No "the roar". You're just an idiot.

This is a very sad story for all concerned. I hope the family and especially the mom will be able to find some peace in what is clearly a devastating situation.

re ashrafieh
I am sure it was. Lets not increase the burden on this mother. Search the web and you will find more examples from countries like Denmark for example:

sure idiot.... go back and enjoy your saudi way of life... where women have no rights but to shut up and stay at home... "sois belle et tais toi" is the FPM motto.... so you have nothing to lecture about retard....

Thumb FlameCatcher 02 April 2014, 13:56

@Roar, @FT : welcome to the 21st century where women and men are equal. Something M8 and even some M14 politicians seem to have a serious problem with.

Your position makes you no different than Saudi (and Iranian) retards you accuse of being archaic and unfair to women !

Why don't you stay at home while your women bring bread to the table ?

It's not about bringing more money in ! It's about women being emancipated, enjoying a career, not wearing veils and being forced to take care of children, cook, cleanup the house ... ( A full job which is much more demanding than simply going to work by the way).

Women are our equals and as such should have the exact same rights as men. in fact, they should have more rights then men !

There is no chance in hell you and your mentality get to play a role in the future of our country. You belong to the past !

Default-user-icon dddd (Guest) 02 April 2014, 13:56

of course blame the woman! who else?! the baby for being dead??
and this is a crime eligible of punishement, even if it was a mistake...

Default-user-icon Rolfen (Guest) 02 April 2014, 13:57

Strange story. Babies can die in summer or winter, but now the climate is nor too cold nor too warm...
Sad story anyway.

Default-user-icon Rolfen (Guest) 02 April 2014, 13:59

If people didn't do mistakes, we would live in a perfect world... there would be no car accident, no plane crashes...

Thumb FlameCatcher 02 April 2014, 14:12

FT : If you raise your children for them to end up being blind Hezbollah fighters or Amal or Mustaqbal street kids ... then please, stop raising them !

If you raise your children with the mother "staying at home" when she actually leaves them with the maid and mommy is out shopping and mingling with friends... then please stop raising them !

Missing peace 02 April 2014, 14:20

sure FT knows nothing about raising children... for him it s the wife's job while he goes and get drunk at the pubs shouting the glory of aoun! LOL

Default-user-icon Who are you to judge (Guest) 02 April 2014, 16:59

I think the most shocking aspect of this story and the comments is the lack of compassion and the view of women in the workplace / home. It is not up to us to judge and condemn this woman. It is highly unlikely that an educater would try to hurt her own child. This was an accident. It happens. It's sad, it's unfortunate. It has happened in the past and will happen in the future. It is not up to is to blame her. We could just as easily ask why the daycare didn't call the parents when the child didn't show up to daycare. Maybe those judging should put their efforts into trying to make a change to avoid such tragedies in the future.

Missing peace 02 April 2014, 17:57

lol.... poor woman and kids, they must have the IQ of a clam given the father...

Thumb Maxx 02 April 2014, 18:06

Allah yir7amon tneynéton. But seriously, speaking as a parent, how can one just "forget" about their baby? I hear such stories virtually every other month, and I'm astounded! People "forgetting" their kids at an international airport, people "forgetting" their kids inside a car; how do these people manage to do it? Seriously, first-time parents should go through mandatory parenthood classes, if only to teach them to NOT BLOODY FORGET THEIR KIDS! Jesus...
