The Israeli army’s Northern Command “continues to increase competence and readiness for a variety of combat scenarios in the North,” the Israeli army has said.

“The reserve battalions of the Etzioni Brigade (6) participated in a brigade exercise in the Western Galilee, led by the National Center for Land Training (MLA),” the Israeli army added.

It said the exercise simulates combat in Lebanon and that infantry, armor and engineering forces practiced operational cooperation in mountainous and complicated areas using camouflage and combat techniques.

Since the outbreak of the war, the Etzioni Brigade has been taking part in “the defense of the northern border of the State of Israel with a wide deployment of fighters from Ras al-Naqoura to the Golan Heights,” the Israeli army said.

In an exercise by the 91st Division Headquarters, the division headquarters and its commanders practiced “a variety of scenarios to accelerate readiness for an attack in this arena,” the army added.

And In the Uzbat Hiram (769) exercise, the units of the brigade, alongside the Air Force and the personnel of the logistics system of the Northern Command, practiced “a scenario of aerial supplies to maneuvering forces in enemy territory.”
