If the story is true, that guy should have got a medal. He probably prevented Israeli troops and aircraft attacking peaceloving Lebanese civilians.

Every time someone says something that makes sense, he's called a Zionist....
Grow up people, we just happen to be proud Lebanese citizens that speak the truth... Get over it!!!

In your eyes, what is a Zionist?
From what I have seen over time reading your comments on many themes, I reach the conclusion that in your eyes anyone who ever disagrees with your way of thought is automatically a Zionist. Therefore, at least in your eyes, I must be. In the eyes of other people around the world I am simply one who sees things as they are whilst looking in from the outside.

phillipo, you think your comment is smart, but you're just another clueless kid. I hope you come to realize one day that your ideas are just a betrayal to your own country. You're just a traitor.

They forgot Mr fayez karam, friend of Michel Aoun who was sentenced to a laughable 2 year of jail time. We would all like to have Mr aoun in our circle of friends to reward us for collaborating with the Zionist entity.

DEATH TO THE TRAITOR AOUN, KARAM AND CIE!

If collaborating with Israel is a crime, the same should apply to collaborating with Syria. Both caused Lebanon harm (one provoked, one not).

Let's not forget the 30 year Syrian occupation of Lebanon...the Lebanese women they raped..the tens of thousands of young Lebanese people they kidnaped, killed and jailed (most still disappeared)... or their huge role in make the civil war 100 times worse..or the money they continue to steal from us...or the militias and terrorists they continue to fund, supply weapons to and train in Lebanon..

It is fine to sentence to death collaborators with other countries. If this guy had a fair trial then that is fine. But Israel is not the only country that has wished to harm Lebanon. There are other countries that have come on Lebanese soil, and killed many, many Lebanese. Can we call their supporters collaborators and sentence them as well? No Israel, No Syrian, No Iranians, No Palestinians, No Saudis! None of these nationalities are good for our country on our soil, none care about our interests, but they all are allowed to have arms on our soil either directly or through their proxies (collaborators).
