Berri says will respond Friday or Saturday to French paper
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has said that he will respond “Friday or Saturday” to the French paper proposing a solution for the Lebanon-Israel border conflict.
Berri, who had received the paper from the French ambassador to Lebanon, told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper that it included “acceptable and other unacceptable points that should be modified.”
Berri added that a ceasefire in Gaza would “automatically apply to south Lebanon.”
A prominent source from the Shiite Duo meanwhile told the daily that Berri’s response will enjoy unconditional support from Hezbollah and caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

Dear France, please take your proposal and shove it! If you don’t allow armed militia funded by a foreign country on your soil, nor a Vichy government and political mafia under militia control working against French interest and sovereignty; why should we?
