Berri says Israel 'assassinating peace efforts' as Salam slams attack on Iran
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Friday condemned Israel’s massive attack on Iran’s nuclear and missile facilities and top military leaders and nuclear scientists, saying Israel’s hostile actions in the region “represent a cross-border threat to independent countries and to international security and stability.”
Berri also stressed “full solidarity” with Iran, offered condolences over the slain Iranians and called on the international community to take a “serious and frank stance before it’s too late,” accusing Israel of “assassinating any effort for establishing the rules of fair and comprehensive peace in the world and in the Middle East region.”
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam for his part strongly condemned the Israeli attack, calling it “a blatant violation of international law and Iran’s sovereignty” and warning that “its repercussions threaten the stability of the entire region and even international peace.”

Why corrupt traitor Berri is not yet in prison is one of Aoun-Salam greatest failure. Berri is the greatest curse on Shia from Lebanon to Tehran. The enabler of Suleimani's kiss of death that destroyed many Arab nations to enable Iran regional hegemony & protect it's nuclear nirvana. If Berri supported Iran Green Revolution in 2010 reformers would have succeeded & Iran would be prosperous part of the civilized world. He instead sided with the Basij that killed Iranian reformers and would have killed Imam Saddr if he was alive. As in Lebanon, the duo are a criminal organization that assassinated Lebanon's best, destroyed our economy and state institutions from Health to education, banking and others making us a beggar nation.
