Berri says Salam PM of all Lebanese not just of 'one or two'
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said Monday that Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is the prime minister of all Lebanon, and that the government includes everyone, after change MP Firas Hamdan said that Hezbollah and Amal ministers must resign if they don't like Salam.
Hamdan spoke during a legislative session that was adjourned after the Lebanese Forces and Kataeb MPs walked out of parliament, stripping the session of its quorum over a clash on the electoral law and the rights of expats to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The change MP said that targeting Salam and accusing him of collaborating with Israel "is not allowed".
Last week, thousands of Hezbollah supporters gathered at a scenic overlook on Beirut’s coast and projected images of the group’s former longtime leader on the iconic arched Raouche rock to commemorate his deaths in an Israeli airstrike a year ago, despite an apparent attempt by Salam to halt the planned light show.
"If they don't like the Prime Minister, they should resign from the government," Hamdan said, accusing Hezbollah and Amal of "dividing the country".
"Fear God," Berri responded. "Salam is the PM of all the Lebanese, not just of one or two."

We are sick and tired of seeing everyone sucking up to Berri. Berri is as guilty as HizbIran in destroying & bankrupting Lebanon, eroding our freedom & sovereignty & turning our land into Iranian rocket base. He supported Hizb wars. He closed parliament to prevent international court, ruined Downtown Beirut businesses, covered up Hizb assassins, and worse, he is the dean of political mafia. Brining him to court, put him in prison for corruption & let Amal pick a true successor to Imam Moussa Saddr that was one of Lebanon’s great leaders with the same upbuilding, constructive and unifying spirit as Hariri (An idiot realizes Berri is an imposter and opposite to Imam Saddr in every respect).

1. CURSE ON TEHRAN: In 2010 Iranian reformers demonstrated in mass against Iran tyrants asking for same freedom & democracy of Lebanese Shia. A third of most educated Iranians joined Green Revolution. Almost succeeded until stabbed in the back by Obama & Berri who sided with Basij (Hizb bosses) that massacred thousands & would’ve killed Imam Saddr if alive.
2. CURSE ON LEBANON: Lebanon GNP was $65 Billions. Should be today over $300B (not current $18B) considering the regional advantages we had in education, banking, insurance, media & freedom. Shia would’ve had higher standard of living than Saudi helping turning Lebanon into New Singapore. All changed after HizbIran occupation with Berri blessing causing exodus of foreign firms, isolation, misery, devaluation, banking crisis & indoctrination into Basij culture.
3. CURSE ON DOWNTOWN BEIRUT: closing parliament for 2 years to block international court.
