Gaza civil defense says 9 killed when Israeli forces fired at bus
Gaza's civil defense agency said that Israeli forces killed nine people in an attack on a bus Friday, while the military stated it had fired at a vehicle that crossed the so-called "yellow line".
"Civil defense crews were able to recover nine bodies following the Israeli occupation's targeting of a bus carrying displaced persons east of the Zeitun neighboorhood yesterday," Mahmoud Bassal, a spokesman for the agency, which operates under Hamas authority, told AFP on Saturday.

Was the yellow line visible to the people on the bus? Al Jazeera's story on the killings says, "Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has said that the yellow lines in Gaza will be soon marked out for clarity." Cliches fail me. Israeli education features opportunities for young "Jewish" students to torture and kill Arabs so that citizenship becomes a lived reality, something they can feel comfortable about. That was practically a cliche. The human conscience cannot be removed, not by the person in whom it lives and not by anybody else.
