Pope Francis took part in religious celebrations on Saturday at sites tied to two saints cherished in Poland — late pope St. John Paul II and St. Faustina, a mystic who had been a source of comfort to him.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson has relieved two officers of their police powers following a police-involved shooting that left a suspect dead.

A portion of a 13-story building under construction in the western Indian city of Pune collapsed on Friday, killing at least eight workers, a fire official said.
