The U.S. Department of State issued a new travel warning advisory to Lebanon over ongoing safety and security concerns, citing reports saying that future suicide bombing targets allegedly include Casino du Liban in Jounieh and Le Royal hotel in Dbayeh.

Islamist fugitive Shadi al-Mawlawi reportedly fled the southern Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh on Friday, media reports said.
A high-ranking Palestinian source said in comments published in al-Mustaqbal newspaper on Sunday, Mawlawi fled the camp as negotiations over his exit from Ain el-Hilweh were ongoing between factions.

Christians in the Bekaa Valley are reportedly taking up arms to combat any attack by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant as cautious calm prevailed in Ras Baalbek region in eastern Lebanon after deadly clashes between the Lebanese army and militiamen.
