Head of Hizbullah's Political Bureau Sayyed Ibrahim Amin Sayyed said on Thursday that President Michel Aoun's trip to Saudi Arabia is a “regular” step as part of Lebanon's duties since the country is in the Arab States League, media reports said Thursday.
“President of the Republic's visit to Saudi Arabia is a normal and regular procedure because Lebanon is within the Arab States' League,” said Sayyed from Tehran, adding “I believe the President will have similar visits to other Arab and non Arab countries.”

The cabinet convened at the Grand Serail on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and in the absence of the ministers accompanying President Michel Aoun in his trip to Saudi Arabia and Qatar which Hariri described as "historic," the National News Agency reported.
“The cabinet has set a new vision to discuss the issue of displaced Syrians, and agreed some amendments to the committee related,” said Culture Minister Ghattas Khoury after the meeting, speaking on behalf of Information Minister Melhem Riachi who accompanies Aoun.

Culture Minister Ghattas Khoury of al-Mustaqbal Movement emphasized that the party will not endorse an electoral law that does not meet the consent of the Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat, An Nahar daily reported Wednesday.
“We will not approve any law that does not meet Jumblat's approval,” assured Khoury in an interview to the daily.
President Michel Aoun held talks on Wednesday with Qatar's emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani in Doha, in the presence of Lebanese and Qatari delegations, the National News Agency reported.
Aoun and his accompanying delegation have concluded a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia and flew to Qatar on Wednesday as part of the President's Arab tour, and to meet the invitation of Qatar's emir, NNA said.

Saudi Arabia and Lebanon have agreed to hold talks on restoring a $3-billion military aid package that Riyadh froze last year, a Lebanese source told AFP on Tuesday.
"The blockage is lifted," said an official in the delegation of President Michel Aoun, who held talks in the Saudi capital with King Salman earlier in the day.
