Iran has banned a popular computer game, "Battlefield 3", depicting U.S. armor and aircraft launching an assault on Tehran, an Iranian IT magazine reported.

"All computer stores are prohibited from selling this illegal game," an unnamed deputy with the security and intelligence division of Iran's police said in a statement carried by the Asr-e Ertebat weekly.

South Korea's president has turned down the thermostat in his office and donned warmer underwear to save energy, he said Monday, urging fellow citizens to do the same to avoid a supply shortage.

Pakistani police on Thursday arrested a woman who had killed her husband and was attempting to cook his body parts after he planned to marry another woman without her permission.

The police arrested Zainab Bibi, 32, and her nephew Zaheer, 22, in the Shah Faisal colony of Pakistan's southern megacity Karachi, and recovered the bowl of flesh she planned to cook, said police chief for the area Nadeem Baig.
