Police in the U.S. city of Milwaukee said a naked burglar tried to break into a veterinary clinic to steal drugs but got stuck in the air vents for almost 12 hours.
Police Lt. Mark Stanmeyer said employees of the Small Animal Hospital in Milwaukee came into work Monday morning and heard the muffled screams of someone calling for help. They discovered the 19-year-old stuck in a narrow shaft.

A Dutch artist's now-famous giant yellow duck found a new temporary home Thursday, this time in Taiwan, but an approaching typhoon could ruffle the inflatable's feathers.
Thousands of people watched and cheered as Florentijn Hofman's 18-meter-tall (60 feet) duck -- a slightly larger version of the one that captivated Hong Kong recently -- was inaugurated at a dock of Kaohsiung harbor.

Already popular in Tokyo where there are dozens, cat cafes allow customers who cannot have a pet at home to enjoy a cup of something hot with a purring cat perched on their knees.

A Raeford, N.C., woman is accused of having sex with dogs while her Fort Bragg soldier husband filmed them. The couple posted the videos on the Internet, police say.
"Anything you can ever imagine a man and a woman doing to each other, she was having the dogs do," Raeford Police Chief Franklin Crumpler told The Huffington Post on Tuesday.

An Indian court has reprimanded police for arresting a man they accused of drinking tea in a "suspicious" manner at one of the country's ubiquitous roadside stalls.
Vijay Patil was drinking tea in the western city of Kolhapur in February when he was arrested under Section 151 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which allows an arrest to prevent someone imminently expected to commit a crime.

The slip of paper turned up in La Coruna, northwestern Spain, the city's mayor said. Media reports said the vendor who sold it found it on his counter.
