Novak Djokovic on Thursday denied reports that he had bought up the world's entire supply of donkey cheese, a delicacy which retails for around $500 per pound in his native Serbia.

World number one Djokovic was reported to have purchased the cheese, known as pule, from the only farm which supplies it and that it would be served at a chain of restaurants which he owns in Serbia.

Jumper Knitted by Suu Kyi Fetches $50,000 at Auction

A colorful woolly jumper knitted by Myanmar democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi has fetched nearly $50,000 at a charity auction in Yangon, aides of the Nobel laureate said on Friday.

The red, green and blue V-neck was bought by private radio station Shwe FM late on Thursday as part of a fundraising event, organised by Suu Kyi's opposition party, for education projects.

Hundreds of visitors are flocking daily to a botanical garden in southeastern Brazil to watch the rare blooming of the Titan arum, the world's smelliest and largest tropical flower.

Also known as the "corpse flower" because of a smell likened to rotting flesh, it began blooming on Christmas Day and is already beginning to close, botanist Patricia Oliveira told Agence France Presse.

Dinosaur 'Thief' Pleads Guilty to Smuggling

A man accused of smuggling 70-million-year-old dinosaur skeletons, including a Tyrannosaur, into the United States pleaded guilty in court Thursday.

Eric Prokopi, 38, who is to be sentenced on April 25, faces up to 17 years in jail and a $250,000 fine on charges of conspiring to smuggle illegal goods, transporting goods taken by fraud and using false statements to import goods.

Massive Finback Whale Beached in New York City

A massive whale, some 60 feet (18 meters) long, beached itself on Wednesday morning in New York City, where, despite rescue efforts, it seemed to have little chance of survival.

Experts said the ailing whale was a finback, the second biggest animal species in the world after blue whales, and came ashore in the Breezy Point neighborhood of Queens.
