Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea held talks in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, the second such meeting in a week, reported Voice of Lebanon radio on Friday.
It said that the meeting focused on the parliamentary electoral law, saying that they shared the same view on the matter.

The meeting held between ex-Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea was described as “serious” and “positive,” sources close to the officials told An Nahar newspaper on Wednesday.
Geagea, who is currently in Saudi Arabia to meet senior officials, discussed on Tuesday with Hariri the latest developments in the region, in particular, the impact of the turmoil in Syria on Lebanon and the 2013 parliamentary elections.

Speaker Nabih Berri is continuing his efforts to reach an agreement among various political powers on a new parliamentary electoral law, reported An Nahar daily on Tuesday, as Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea met ex-PM Saad Hariri in Jeddah on Tuesday evening.
Talks between Geagea and Hariri tackled the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, according to Future TV which is affiliated with Hariri's Mustaqbal Movement.

Speaker Nabih Berri discussed with al-Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc head MP Fouad Saniora a wide range of issues including the electoral draft law and the social and economy situation.
Sources told An Nahar newspaper published on Tuesday this is the first meeting held between the two since the cabinet of ex-Prime Minister Saad Hariri was toppled in January 2011 by the March 8 alliance, in which Berri is a key player.

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri welcomed the stance of Pope Benedict XVl from the uprising in the Arab world, stressing that his message is similar to the values and principles that he believes in.
“We hope that the positive impacts of the papal visit will appear in the near future,” Hariri said in a letter to the pope on his second day of visit to Lebanon.

He told the daily: “We provide it with humanitarian and political support.”

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat noted on Wednesday that his ties with the Hariri family date back to the days when slain former Premier Rafik Hariri was in power and they have continued to this day with his son and former PM Saad Hariri.
The PSP said in a statement: “Our common struggle and political relationship with the Hariri family transcend differences.”

Former prime minister Saad Hariri met with Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat in Paris on Tuesday and discussed with him the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, Hariri’s office said.
The meeting is the first between the two officials since the government of Hariri was toppled in December 2011 and the formation of a cabinet led by Prime Minister Najib Miqati.
