Stupidity has no limits!
what is awakening the kurds is Syria and Iran in an attempt to silence Turkey about Syria :)
please, if you want to make comments, have your facts straight ....
finally the truth is out: Hizbullah wants an Iranian state.
maybe the patriarch, if he reads this, will be able to advise us if he wants to join such a state :)
it is clear that we need to fear the chiite extremism, and not the real muslims (the Sunnis) who are moderate and believe in democracy.
to Noreply:
I was merely answering previous comments, and agree with you: extremism of whatever sort is bad to say the least.
but currently, weapons are in the hands of one huge group, and should you compare their ability to others be it Sunnis or Christian extremists ....
so, in my view the major danger currently is this huge armed militia calling themselves resistance.
more clarity:
those who own around 40K rockets, of which more than half of them are located in Christian areas in the hands of FPM, are the real threat to all of us.
this is what the Patriarch should pay attention to in my view.
actually, Israel insists on so called negotiations, which have only one purpose: build more settlements.
No, the time is overdue for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital
maybe we are looking at this subject the wrong way: why should Christians unite in one voice?
I believe we are doing the right thing by having different opinions, while the others do not have diversity.
however, the problems are:
- we follow others to have credibility: Aoun follows Hizbullah hoping he will be elected as president, while the others are part of the large diversity of March 13.
- the cancellation mentality of some is still there, based on the principle that no one else represents the Christians but him.
- and so on...
so in my point of vue, it is the mentality of some that need to be changed and accept there are others who do have other opinions.
we should keep pushing for diversity as this is real democracy so we need to push the others to be like us.
just an opinion.
by the way, look at this picture and tell me where you see them united? the way they are sitting shows how they are in real life.... which is a positive sign.
what is required is for these guys to reach consencus on main points.
