the most misunderstood job here in Lebanon :)
companies are so retarded, they think the work of a software engineer should be cheap, and for most of the times they understand nothing about computers :)
I have been in this business now for over 35 years, headed my own company here in Lebanon, to work in the Gulf for a long period. in the Gulf there is respect for our profession, and the size of projects is thousand times fold that of Lebanon. they are open to creativity and cutting edge technologies. I can tell you, I implemented projects, which I ever doubt will be implemented in Lebanon anytime soon.
you know what is funny guys? what is funny is that it is OK for the army intelligence to apprehend hashash in Batroun, beating him up for hours, and that is because he issued comments against the standstill the army caused the other day!
most probably such action by the army is acceptable, but apprehending suspects is not!
what a joke.
most probably they think this country can be ruled by moukhabarat! they are in for a major surprise.
as if it was not enough we pay salaries to an army that does not defend our borders, as if it was not enough that this army completely disrupted the lives of Lebanese to train (they could have trained somewhere else), as if it was not enough what this army is doing supporting the Syrian regime, as if this army is not killing people at checkpoints,....
