and the circus is still going on!
I have been reading a lot about this issue lately, and it is really saddening to see what is being said!
the Syrians are fleeing the fighting in their country, and that's it.
all the hitlerian talks about closing the border are rejected.
same goes for the above article, whereby the Syrian regime should have something to do with Lebanon providing assistance to these refugees.
on the concern these refugees will become like the Palestinians, I do agree this is a valid concern, thus we need to do more to help push the Syrian regime to fall sooner than later.
the real concern are the Syrian planes and rockets flying over our territory, and the army is doing nothing about that.

you are mixing many things together, but let me dissect your comment for it to become readable:
- feel free to be blindly 'humanitarian' and forget your own sorry state of living in the process: it is a humanitarian process to assist those fleeing a military conflict because they do not want to fight with either side. though it is the responsibility of our military and security forces to maintain public safety.
- international community: Europe and the US are starting to allocate funds for helping these people. KSA is already assisting them a lot, as well as other Gulf countries. on the other hand, where is the Iranian assistance? is it only arms for people to kill each other?
- we refused to be shipped to Canada or elsewhere. why do you want them to be shipped away from their country?
a strong message to the assad regime should be sent through closing their embassy and sending their shabiha back home.
are we a country or not?
we have the DUTY to protect ourselves from all the plots of this murderous regime.

we know the threats of hizbushaitan make this period a dangerous one.
but does it justify sitting down with those threatening us to take their orders? I think NOT.
until hizbushaitan shows they are committed to Lebanon only, and decide to revert on their decisions to govern the country on their own, there is no room for discussions.
yesterday we heard 2 comments from their 2 top most leaders stating no one group can govern alone: isn't that what they did and still doing?
you fool me once.....

this not about putting a ceiling or not, this is about the next phase being prepared now:
- do you recall the rumors spread by fpm before samaha was caught? well now they are doing the same.
- it has been uncovered that a group was sent by asad to the north in the Christian area (where qawmiyeh are) preparing plots against us and the aim is to put the blame on salafis.
- at the same time, hizbushaitan has been arming and training groups in the north specifically and in kesroun in preparation for what is coming.
- end result: when the issues start, they will accuse salafis of aggression against Christians so that fpm comes out reinforced for the upcoming elections.
if that fails, hizbushaitan is prepared to try to take over the country militarily, and this is what Joumblat is saying these days.
@the1phoenix
as you can notice I am no more replying t aggressive comments and insults as agreed previously.

thank you for clarifying this to FT, although he knows exactly what I am talking about, and I prefer not to go through any war of words with Ft and his likes as it is not productive.

my comment is based on actual facts, and if you recall the period preceding the uncovering of the samaha plot, FPM leaders were spreading the salafis rumors already, as they are now, while it is a well known fact that the Syrian regime has sent his shabiha to do what I said above.
as to hizbushaitan arming salafis factions in the north and fpm and training them, it is a known fact, to the point that if you ask a kid in kesrwan he will confirm it to you. so do not believe me, come and check for yourself :)
@realist
you and I know that it would be suicidal for the shia in Lebanon to do that.
but go explain to the hard core Iranians that :)
unfortunately, hizbushaitan takes its orders from iran :(

what did you expect?
it is only logical that you will get it after bashar falls, same as your hizbushaitan master.
this is a normal course of events and you will pay for your positions. it is the normal process of things.
did you ever think that your current alliances will protect you?
