this cabinet is aimed at executing elections, and the insistence of m8 on an enlarged political cabinet is only due to their will to extend the parliament.
these guys are insisting, thus they want to extend this current parliament. they do not want any change in the political scene as long as Syria is as it is.
we need to understand however that the Syrian situation is changing rapidly, and while, so far the US was happy that jihadists were all converging into Syria to fight with the Syrian regime(thus killing each other), the US is now worried that the Syrian regime is abut to be toppled. their fear lies on the simple fact the chemical weapons will fall into the jihadists hands.
all this to say the situation in Syria is about to change dramatically now.

Russia and the US failed at containing sunni extremists in spite of all their might, and the more you kill, the more extremists you create.
