if ever m14 officials back down on this, then they will all be totally rejected by m14 base.

personally, I agree that neither Geagea nor aoun stand a chance to become president: they are too polarized.
we do not need a polarized person, rather we need a president that will be able to reunite all the Lebanese communities, especially shia, after the upcoming changes.

may I add, that after so many years with m8 blacking or governing, we reached the current economic situation.
thus, if we want really to see change at the economical level, then we need to have change at how this country is run.
and I am not saying that m14 officials are that good too :)
so we need change, but change with a lot of Lebanese interest first.

do you really have seen any projections about results of elections if they are held now?
several years and so many errors have been made by aoun and the fpm that many voters would not support him anymore.

believe it or not: the majority of the Lebanese people reject the Iranian invasion, and if you are reverting to shia numbers, then it is good for you to review the official numbers whereby shia represent less than 28% of the total number of Lebanese.
and if you add to that the Lebanese diaspora, then those numbers go down dramatically and that is why m8 is refusing to include them properly.

and I agree with you karim: we do not accept to be under Saudi invasion too :)
