Escalation is definitely not the answer, who are they to threaten the state?
I doubt the claims made by this "authority" (aka the brother of the sheikh, what makes him an "authority" ???) so many things do not stick and this is at best sloppy reporting.
Forget about the self proclamation of "authority", but if indeed Assad has something to do with it and was seeking to stir trouble, how come the target was an obscure unknown sheikh that nobody really cares about? Had he wanted a reaction there would have been MUCH more effective target.
Second, this would imply that the Army is complicit, these are very serious allegations, defamatory ones even, that need to be backed up by more than a self-proclaimed authority quoting "rumours" and Al Arabyia should provide those documents to the Justice to be examined and authenticated.
Third, the account of the story has been SERIOUSLY truncated, more sloppy reporting:
"On May 20, Abdul Wahed's vehicle was halted at an army checkpoint in the northern region of Kweikhat where he was killed."
What about the fact that he refused to stop at the checkpoint and rushed through? What about reports that the escort car opened fire first? What about the fact that both cars contained weapons? This one-sided version of facts is dishonest.
who says the regime "slaughtered more than 30,000" ? the london observatory, aka the rebel mouthpiece? yea right...
if you ask reals Syrians, not saudi lards and their puppets on payroll, most the killing was done by foreign mercenaries.
fath el islam? you mean the terrorist group which was created, funded and train by hariri? yea right
regarding the article, i softly laugh at how gullible you are, where are those documents? where did they come from? rami abdulrahman must be laughing his pants off
"The journalist has frequently covered arms smuggling from Lebanon to neighboring Syria, which might be a reason for his detention," the CPJ said on September 14.
humm, it seems like saudi-sponsored democracy is reaching us, all hail the oil king, and bless his minion rifi
you're the one who backs "a group of butchers/murderers/assassins who thrive on blood." those so-called rebels, hired from Libya and Chechnya to come and kill. the al qaeda elements, funded by your wahhabis whackos, who plant bombs randomly.
each time there are accusations of massacres, always coming from one source (rami abdulrahman) you take it as gospel without even knowing where the guy was or who he was before suddenly becoming, all by himself the "syrian observatory of london"
and then when elements surface, showing the rebels/mercenaries did the massacre you forget about it (or justify it like phil) and move on to the latest fad from rami abdulrahman. you're a desperate case, because you WANT to be fooled, anything will go for you
