media were not denied access, a lot had access but did not go, or go and fabricate false reports as so many of them have been debunked by channels like al dounia, who was unilaterally banned from nilesat. why are they so disturbed by dissonant voices?
they already did lebnanfirst, the whole of eastern region in saudi in already revolting, but this has been muted. goes to say how much your "free press" distorts your vision of reality by selectively deciding what you must and musnt see.
they say they are ready to die for the revolution, and they're ready to blow up booby-trapped cars in the middle of civilians, and they're ready to see thousands of dead to ensure they will grab power, but they're not ready to take a chance with themselves?
If they make a deal, negotiate with the regime and reach a deal, the whole world will be watching, especially the Arabs, if a few of them go, and take that chance, or even run for elections from abroad, and assad executes them, then everyone, and even i, will be on the side of the revolution. this would be the best, ultimate, guarantee for the final victory they could ever dream of.
either they're cowards, caring more about their little selves than about the thousands of syrian people they claim to be defending, or they know, that they do NOT have the support of the people, but still want to grab power.
note: it's NOT only the shiaa, it's much wider. and you dont SEE them murdering their populace doesnt mean it's not happening.
also, the biggest supporters of the syrian "revolution" are saudi and watari kings, doesnt that tell you A LOT about the real intentions? would despots REALLY encourage democracy? if they really believed that the syrian "revolution" would end up with a democracy do you really think they would support it?
"Al Arabiya was started in response to Qatar's pan-Arab satellite channel Al Jazeera, but has languished behind in audience popularity surveys, according to reports by University of Maryland professor Shibley Telhami.[14][15] Al Arabiya has been criticized for being an arm of Saudi foreign policy, or what the United States would term public diplomacy, as it is seen as being part of "a concerted Saudi attempt to dominate the world of cable and satellite television media in the Arab world and steal the thunder of Egypt."
