yes they have a choice and no it doesnt mean HA doesnt have control. and btw nasrallah explained this clearly, the men decided to stay and defend the villages and HA decided that they couldnt morally forbid it, so they let them do it. if HA was involved actively you would know about it, believe me, the ill trained terrorists wouldnt last a day.
