The foreign guest on his show that claimed that The Lebanese President of the Republic was a terrorist, is the person that should be arrested, not Marcel! Imagine a Lebanese commentator claiming that Saudi King Salman is a terrorist! Imagine Lebanon arresting a prime minister of a foreign sovereign nation? We are The Lebanon! Regardless of foreign interference, we must remain Lebanese!

If KSA now realizes that Lebanon is not a pawn in their regional chess board... then good! They may believe that Hariri is theirs, but Lebanon is not. Once Hariri is the Prime Minister of the republic of Lebanon, then they must treat him with the respect that position deserves!

Everyone knows that lebanese political parties are influence and supported by foriegn nations... but the overreach shown by KSA towards the Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri by essentially arresting him, was an indefensible overreach, never before attempted by nations not at war. Lebanese that had been open and favorable to KSA, were left disgusted. Respect us! We are not pawns! When the gulf Arabs were living in tents and riding camels, we were the founding nation of the United Nations!! Before Oil money, we were here and relevant, and after oil we will still be relevant even after all these foriegn created problems!

The President of the Republic has veto on the government formation. The PM and President must agree on cabinet formation. The formation is historically/technically 1/3rd President 2/3rd PM allies. If the PM allies include the President’s people then that’s the PM’s problem. Let’s not invent problems, but deal in reality.

Phillips, true but the 200k Palestinians that Zionist Israel expelled into Lebanon that caused the civil war and destroyed our nation are still stuck and exiled in Lebanon! Without these Palestinian refugees and the PLO exiled from Jordan, Lebanon would not need Israel’s power grid! We would not have idiot Lebanese blaming the Lebanese government for the strain on national resources and threatening national security... just like how now we have the same idiotic Lebanese politicians blaming the lebanese government for trying to provide electricity instead of acknowledging the strain that 1.5 million refugees have on our infrustructure!
