It will be reasonable to say that this attack took place in Majedlyoun, East of Saida, so fair to say that this will be the target place for the army in its pursuit of the culprits. let us say, when such an attack on the army happens in Dahye or any other area where Hezbollah is predominant, then yes, let the army carry out its duties with the very same zeal, but until then that is.

i wouldn't mind if they also did bab al tabbeneh... as long as the LAF isn't picky. no weapons outside state controle, and of course criminals must face justice.

Everyone from both sides of the political spectrum supports the army and they want the army to ve able to strike with an iron fist using out finest commandos. The issue here is that people wonder why commandos were not sent to bring in the alleged criminals responsible for the assassination of Hariri senior. Whether or not the public agree or not with the STL, the state of Lebanon is obliged to fulfill the requirements coming from it, this is not optional, and since the army receives its orders from the state of Lebanon, it must also strike with the commandos and bring these guys in. Unless that happens people will always see the army as taking sides.

Hezbiran and the army are allies because the US and the mullahs are working together in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Hezbiran is in a hopeless situation without the support of the Lebanese state. All you need to do is to bomb them every now and then to make them live under siege with no economy and nowhere to go. The army is equipped and trained by the West for one reason, to fight the Sunnis.
