الجيش يتسلم دفعة جديدة من الأسلحة الاميركية

تسلم الجيش السبت كمية من الذخائر والاسلحة ضمن برنامج المساعدات الاميركية المقررة له.
وأفادت الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام أن "اللواء اللوجستي في الجيش تسلم اليوم، وفي حضور عدد من ضباط الجيش ومن مكتب التعاون الدفاعي الاميركي في لبنان، عبر مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي كمية من الاسلحة والذخائر المختلفة".
وتأتي هذه الدفعة الجديدة ضمن اطار برنامج المساعدات الاميركية المقررة للجيش ، والالتزامات والاتفاقيات الموقعة بين الجانبين.
وتأتي هذه المساعدات بعد الاحداث الدامية التي شهدتها بلدة عرسال البقاعية بينه وبين مجموعات ارهابية.
وفي 29 الشهر الفائت وصلت بيروت طائرة أميركية محملة بأسلحة وذخائر للجيش. وتنوعت الأسلحة داخل الطائرة بين 480 صاروخ AT4 المحمول على الكتف، واكثر من 500 بندقية A4-M16.
ومن ضمن الاسلحة أيضا مدافع الهاون مع ذخائرها، كما شملت ألف بندقية A4-M16 التي وصلت الجمعة.
وتسلم هذه الاعتدة والذخائر الى الجيش باشراف السفير الاميركي ديفيد هيل.
وكانت السعودية تقدمت بهبة مليار دولار لم تعرف بعد طريقة صرفها كما سابقتها التي تبلغ 3 مليار دولار. وذلك من أجل دعم الجيش الذي سقط منه 19 شهيدا في معارك عرسال التي ادت ايضا الى خطف 35 عسكريا ما زال البعض منهم محتجزا لدى تنظيمي "النصرة" "داعش" التي أعدمت الرقيب علي السيد.

To be fair to the Iranians they made the same promises to the Iraqis, but only supported their sectarian militias. In fact after Al Maliki's army fled ahead of ISIL the Iranians screamed and yelled and threatened and promised but ultimately did nothing. Now month later the Americans got involved. The Iranians are like the next door neighbor who promises he's got your back. But when your back is on the sidewalk and you are getting pummeled by thugs he's safe up on his balcony screaming obscenity at them and threatening to break every bone in their body always from the balcony.

Thank you USA... Thank God the senile Senator McCain hasn't as much influence anymore. 1st he wants to arm the ISIS and Al Nusra, now he wants to attack them and full invasion. He still wants to arm the same people he also wants the Pentagon to attack.
Any real support to the lebanese army will only come through Apache helicopters from the US, the mi 24 attack helicopters russia promised 4 years ago or any of the 3 billion Saudi grant from france... Dont hold your breath.
