When Syria falls into civil war and the christains are slaughtered like they were after iraq's "liberation", will they step in to defend them? when they chant "alawie bill taboot and massesiehy lil Beirut." will they defend them? I dont think so.... The batrak is also the patriarch of the Maronites and christains in Syria, not just Lebanon. He only asked for peaceful negotiations and giving Assad a chance to implement the reforms that he promised.
