"لجنة جديدة" برئاسة شهيب لتولي مسألة ترحيل النفايات بعد الوصول الى طريق مسدود

ستشكل لجنة جديدة برئاسة وزير الزراعة أكرم شهيب تتولى مسالة ترحيل النفايات و "العروض المقدمة" لهذه الغاية، بعدما اصطدمت خطة الحكومة بحائط عراقيل يتعلق بالمطامر.
وكشفت مصادر حكومية لصحيفة "المستقبل" الجمعة النقاب عن تشكيل لجنة جديدة برئاسة شهيب خلفاً للجنة الخبراء السابقة، وهي "تضم ثلاثة أعضاء جدداً أحدهم يمثل وزارة البيئة وآخر مجلس الإنماء والإعمار بالإضافة إلى قاضٍ يتولى درس الجوانب القانونية في العروض المقدمة لترحيل النفايات اللبنانية".
واوضحت المصادر أن "لجنة الترحيل عقدت أول اجتماعاتها برئاسة شهيب أمس الخميس".
وقد باشرت اللجنة الجديدة في "عملية جوجلة ودراسة العروض المطروحة حتى الساعة من قبل شركات مختصة تمهيداً لاتخاذ القرار المناسب وتحديد العرض الأكثر جدية وملاءمة لشروط الدولة قبل طرحها على مجلس الوزراء".
وبعد أشهر من العمل على خطة تحل أزمة النفايات المستشرية في البلد منذ أشهر، وصلت الجهود الى طريق مسدود. إذ بقيت مسالة الاتفاق على مطامر مدار جدل سياسي.
وتتضمن خطة شهيب اعادة فتح مطمر الناعمة لسبعة ايام اضافية وإقامة مطمر في سرار - عكار. بعدها تم الاتفاق على مطمر في الكفور الجنوبية بعد غض النظر عن إنشاء مطمر في كفرزيد البقاعية ، الى ان تم اقتراح اقامة مطمر في الكوستابرفا في خلدة، الامر الذي اعترض عليه اهالي شويفات ورفضوه.
اما نفايات المتن وكسروان فتم الاتفاق على توزيعها بين الجنوب والشمال.
الا أن كل هذه الاقتراحات لا تزال حبرا على ورق وغير قابلة للتطبيق ما جعل البعض يتوسل ترحيل النفايات حلا لهذه الكارثة البيئية.

The only region that accepted hosting a landfill was the north ( to be fair ). Hezbollah rejected a landfill in the south or the bekaa area. Aoun and Kateab rejected hosting landfills in metn or keserwein. Now, it is all over again... and the cost to export is prohibitive..... and life goes on!

the right decision = means we are studying how to make more money out of this....
when developed countries MAKE money out of their waste, in Lebanon they SPEND tax payers money to get rid of it... pityful...

simple question for you = how come developed countries make money out of waste, produce energy with their waste and Lebanon cannot? they have to spend our money to get rid of it instead of recycling it?

The country will collapse if the "leaders" don't get their act together real fast. They all have far too many excuses for not doing what's in the best interest of the country and getting things done. Once the country collapses they and the citizens of Lebanon will wish they did their job. Third world nations dispose of their trash properly so maybe take a cue from them and learn how to lead a nation.
