رئيس الوزراء الكندي: نعتزم استقبال 25 الف لاجئ سوري قبل مطلع العام

أعلن رئيس الوزراء الكندي جاستن ترودو مساء الخميس ان بلاده ستستقبل 25 الف لاجئ سوري قبل مطلع العام المقبل عملا بوعوده الانتخابية.
وقال ترودو متحدثا لاذاعة راديو كندا في مقابلته الاولى منذ تولي مهامه الاربعاء ان "الهدف ما زال استقدام 25 الف لاجئ سوري هنا الى كندا قبل الاول من كانون الثاني".
وتابع انه من اجل تحقيق هذا الهدف في فترة قصيرة "تمت تعبئة عدد من الوزارات" ومن الضروري "ان يكون لنا شركاء في المقاطعات والبلديات".
واكد ان "الكنديين يريدون ان نتصرف تصرفا مسؤولا ومتعقلا" وهم "اختاروا اعطاء تفويض للانفتاح والمسؤولية" من اجل "تجديد التزامنا وبشكل متين على الساحة الدولية".
ولفت الى ان استقبال 25 الف لاجئ ليس اصعب ما في الامر، بل ينبغي ايضا "منحهم القدرة على تحقيق النجاح من اجل عائلاتهم" حتى ينعكس ذلك فائدة "على المجموعة" وعلى البلاد برمتها "مثلما فعلت جميع موجات المهاجرين واللاجئين السابقة".
واكد ان وزير الدفاع هارجيت سجان يعمل على وقف الضربات الجوية التي تنفذها القوات الكندية في اطار عمليات الائتلاف الدولي ضد تنظيم الدولة الاسلامية في سوريا والعراق.
وشدد على ان سحب المقاتلات الكندية الذي سيتم على وجه السرعة ينبغي ان يتحقق "بصورة مسؤولة.. وتراعي حلفاءنا".
وتابع ان سجان "سيدرس مختلف الخيارات لضمان الوفاء بوعدنا" بوقف الضربات ضد الجهاديين، مشيرا في الوقت نفسه الى ان كندا ستبقى "ملتزمة بمكافحة تنظيم الدولة الاسلامية".
وقال ان كندا ستؤمن مساعدة انسانية ميدانية وتكلف "قواتها المسلحة بالتدريب بدلا من القتال".

At least they are thinking of syrians not like your wahabizzz who claims freedom & democracy (as if their country is the ideal in democracy n freedom) for syrians n have kms of empty lands to create shelters for them in these moments of crisis ;)

Canada per capita has accepted the most in the world! So YES, laud their generosity! How many have the richest neighbour, the defender of sunni arabs in the middle east, Saudi Arabia taken as citizens? Not refugees or legal workers, but citizens? Not just Saudi Arabia but the rest of the satellite Gulf nations? Western Europe, Canada and Australia are not accepting refugees to squat temporarily on their land... they are accepting refugees to be citizens to live in their countries!
Pajama boy... you should know better considering your famous attempts to assimilate! Why not assimilate in Saudi Arabia? Which would be more difficult for you as a Lebanese, assimilating in Saudi Arabia or Europe?

Pajama boy... Yes Lebanon per capita, has the most refugees in the country. Almost 2 million Syrian, Palestinians and Iraqi, in a land of 4 million! Ya Pajama boy, i know exactly the effects that foreign refugees have had on our nation! It was the cause of the civil war in 1975. Refugees have ruined Lebanon and the Lebanese have been made to look like mean, unwelcoming racists by the worlds media which we are anything but! My village home currently shelters Syrian refugees! What have you done ya pyjama? You question if I'm Lebanese? What have you contributed to Lebanon or the refugees in Lebanon?
I comment on refugees that are accepted as citizens! NO refugee in Lebanon becomes a citizen (we simply cant afford to look after lebanese let alone foreign refugees)! I commented on Canada and the other nations accepting refugees as their citizens that they accept as their own... giving them social services like free health and education and unemployment benefits!

what have you contributed to Lebanon over the past 15 years? I live in Australia and I still pay rates, electricity and water in Lebanon! I financially contribute to my family in Lebanon and more in investment! What do you do as you try to assimilate?
