أكد رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري أن المعركة ضد الفساد في كافة الملفات ستستمر حتى النهاية، مشددا على ان "لا غطاء لأحد".
وقال بري "المعركة ضد الفساد في ملفي الإنترنت وقوى الأمن الداخلي ستستمر حتى النهاية، ولن يكون هناك أي غطاء أو حماية لأحد، سواء كان مدنيا أم عسكريا".
وشدد على ان "كل من يتعرض للضغوط، على مستوى القضاء أو غيره، ما عليه سوى أن يعلمني بذلك، ويترك الباقي عليّ".
وفتحت مؤخرا ملفات فساد عديدة يجري التحقيق بشأنها بدأت بفضيحة الانترنت غير الشرعي التي كشف عنها وزير الاتصالات بطرس حرب، وملف الاختلاس في قوى الأمن الداخلي إضافة الى قضية شبكة الدعارة التي ضبطت في جونية وسط تقارير عن تورط أجهزة أمنية فيها.

Not really... There was a time (before I was born). My parents showed me pictures and told me how we had relatively beautiful a very organized country... Railways, really good postal service with home and street addresses that were like Europe clean ... Driving was orderly ... Who knows if it's true but from really old pictures and people from that era, well it looked really nice... THEN the Syrians came in and taught us how to be corrupt!!!!
