رسائل واشنطن الى لبنان: لا تراجع عن تشديد العقوبات على حزب الله وسندعم المصارف

وجهت واشنطن عبر وكيل وزارة الخارجية الاميركية للشؤون السياسية توماس شانتون ثلاث رسائل الى لبنان أولها ان لا تراجع عن اعتبار حزب الله منظمة إرهابية وبالتالي العقوبات المصرفية عليه باقية.
وأفادت صحيفة "عكاظ" السعودية نقلاً عن مصادر مطلعة أن "شانون أكد أثناء لقاءاته مع المسؤولين اللبنانيين خلال زيارته أخيرا لبيروت ثلاث نقاط هي: لا تراجع أميركيا عن اعتبار حزب الله منظمة إرهابية وتشديد المراقبة والعقوبات عليه مؤسسات وأفرادا، دعم الإدارة الأميركية للمصارف اللبنانية وعلى رأسها مصرف لبنان المركزي تجاه التهديدات التي يتلقاها والضغوط التي تمارس عليه، ودعم الجيش اللبناني في حربه على الإرهاب".
واوضحت المصادر ان "المسؤولين اللبنانيين الذين التقوا شانون استخلصوا أن الادارة الأميركية الحالية ليس لها مبادرة أو رغبة في إطلاق مبادرة لحل الملف الرئاسي وانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية، ما يرجح ان يذهب الملف الرئاسي اللبناني إلى ما بعد انتخاب رئيس أميركي جديد".
