If FPM were committed to the National Pact, it would go to Parliament and vote for a President of the Republic. If the FPM would put as much energy into being a national party as it does into organizing street demonstrations against the government that it is responsible for, then Lebanon might be a nation-state. As it is, the article correctly calls the FPM a "bloc" but it should be spelled, "block" because its all they do. Its what they are paid to do. Be the front men keeping the Lebanese State institutions frozen so that Hezbollah can prosecute Iranian diktats for Hezbollah's participation in the Syrian War without having to bother with a Lebanese Government that would oppose such participation.
Way to go FPM, you are hypocrites of the First Order. Your actions betray your cause. National Pact vindication, indeed!!!

Nothing doing, the Lebanese Forces are wiser than this. They understand that bringing up the National Pact file by the FPM is a red herring akin to the "false witness" file that toppled the Hariri government and give birth to the Hezballah controlled Mikati headed government that was ironically counter to the partnership and the National Pact that the FPM allegedly holds dear. As you recall the "false witness" file was never brought up again during Mikati's tenure or since as Bassil was too busy embezzling.. err.. sorry.. inheriting million$$.
