عون في يوم المراة العالمي: لازالة كل الفوارق القانونية بين المرأة والرجل

هنأ رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال عون، المرأة اللبنانية في يوم المرأة العالمي، مقدرا "تضحياتها وتفانيها، ودروها في بناء الوطن والمجتمع والعائلة.
وقال عون خلال استقباله صباح الثلاثاء في حضور اللبنانية الأولى السيدة ناديا الشامي عون، وفد المجلس النسائي اللبناني برئاسة المحامية اقبال مراد دوغان، أنه "مع إزالة كل الفوارق القانونية بين المرأة والرجل"، وأن هذا الموقف نادى به دائما وسيواصل "العمل لتحقيقه".
وعبر عون عن دعمه "ما يطالب به المجلس النسائي اللبناني"ـ داعيا إلى "تنفيذه من دون قيد أو شرط"، قائلا: "لأني مع مساواة كاملة بين المرأة والرجل"
.
وتمنى أن يتمكن خلال عهده الرئاسي "من تحقيق الأمنيات التي تسعى المرأة اللبنانية بأن تصبح حقيقة".

50% of the parliament members and ministers should be women. Why isn't anyone doing it???? all liars from the president who has two "object" daughters to all of those who hail the 'International Women's Day' without insuring that 50% of its party members are women.
in the middle ages and renaissance, women were considered as bellies. nothing has changed in 2017 in 'our' politician's heads.

A 30% to 40% quota for women in parliament and government for 12 years will do Lebanon, its soul and children a great favor.

The problem is not yet with quotas, as it is debated in Western countries where women enjoy same rights than men. In Lebanon, women are 2nd class citizens for 2 reasons:
- They can't pass citizenship to their children
- They are discriminated by religious law, especially Muslim women who want to divorce

Indeed, this quota mentality has more side bad effects than good effects, I can see it in France where I live.

Let's start with the basics, i.e. citizenship : why a Lebanese man can pass its citizenship to his kids, and not a Lebanese woman, as it should be ?
