عون يقرر تعليق عمل مجلس النواب لمدة شهر استنادا الى المادة 59 منعا للتمديد

قرر رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال عون تأجيل انعقاد المجلس النيابي لمدة شهر واحد، استنادا الى المادة 59 من الدستور اللبناني، لمنع انعقاد الجلسة المخصصة يوم غد الخميس للتمديد.
وهي المرة الاولى منذ العام 1926 التي يستعمل رئيس جمهورية لبنانية حقه الدستوري في تأجيل انعقاد جلسات مجلس النواب خلال عقد عادي.
وجاء قرار عون خلال كلمة توجه بها الى اللبنانيين عند الثامنة من مساء الاربعاء قال فيها "أيتها اللبنانيات، أيها اللبنانيون. لقد أديت، عند انتخابي رئيسا للجمهورية، يمين الإخلاص لدستور الأمة اللبنانية وقوانينها، والحفاظ على استقلال لبنان ووحدته وسلامة أراضيه.
واوضح أن "وثيقة الوفاق الوطني، وقد صارت جزءا لا يتجزأ من الدستور اللبناني، تنص على أن تجرى الإنتخابات النيابية وفقا لقانون انتخاب جديد، يراعي القواعد التي تضمن العيش المشترك بين اللبنانيين وتؤمن صحة التمثيل السياسي لجميع فئات الشعب اللبناني، وفعالية ذلك التمثيل".
وذكر "تعهدت أيضا في خطاب القسم، بالعمل على تصحيح التمثيل السياسي للشعب اللبناني على الأسس الميثاقية المذكورة.كذلك تعهّدت الحكومة في البيان الوزاري، من منطلق استعادة الثقة بالدولة والسلطات والمؤسسات، بإقرار قانون انتخاب جديد يراعي صحة التمثيل وعدالته".
وأضاف "كما أنني سبق وحذرت مرارا من تداعيات التمديد وهو ضد المبادئ الدستورية، وحتما لن يكون له سبيل في عهد إنهاض الدولة وسلطاتها ومؤسساتها على أسس دستورية وميثاقية سليمة".
وخلص الى القول "نحن اليوم على مشارف نهاية الولاية الممددة،للمرة الثانية، لمجلس النواب الحالي،
لذلك، وإفساحا في المجال لمزيد من التواصل بين جميع الأفرقاء،ومنعا لاستباحة إرادة اللبنانيين لجهة حقّهم في الاقتراع واختيار ممثليهم ،ووضعا للجميع أمام مسؤولياتهم الوطنية، قرّرت، تأجيل انعقاد المجلس النيابي مدة شهر واحد، وذلك استنادا الى نص المادة 59 من الدستور اللبناني".
وكان الرئيس عون التقى عند السابعة والنصف من مساء الاربعاء في قصر بعبدا، رئيس الحكومة سعد الحريري، وجرى عرض لآخر حصيلة الاتصالات التي اجريت من اجل الوصول الى قانون انتخابي جديد.
وبعد كلمة عون بأقل من ساعة صرح رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري بما يلي:"اما و قد استعمل رئيس الجمهورية نص المادة 59 من الدستور التي تعطيه الحق بتأجيل انعقاد المجلس الى امد لا يتجاوز شهرا واحدا ، فاني مرة اخرى اعتبر هذه الخطوة من فخامة الرئيس التي تستعمل لاول مرة في تاريخ لبنان، هي في سبيل تأمين مزيد من الوقت للاستفادة منه بالتوصل الى تفاهم على قانون جديد، طالما نادى الرئيس ان يكون هذا القانون تحت سقف النسبية.
بدوري وانسجاما مع موقفه ارجئ جلسة الغد الى الخامس عشر من شهر آيار المقبل ، آملاً التوصل الى صيغة قانون موحدة تسمح بتمديد تقني ينأى بنا عن الفراغ القاتل والذي يودي بلبنان للانتحار المؤكد".
و تلقى الرئيس بري اتصالا من البطريرك الماروني الكاردينال مار بشارة بطرس الراعي وهنأه على موقفه.
وبعد قرار تعليق جلسة مجلس النواب الغيت التظاهرات التي دعا اليها حزب القوات اللبنانية والتيار الوطني الحر والتي طانت مقررة الخميس احتجاجا على قرار التمديد للمجلس النيابي للمرة الثالثة على التوالي.

No I dont want to bet because the only thing we know here is that you never know what's going to happen...
Nothing is guaranteed here, but dont forget the parliament already extended itself TWICE! Okay the first time was unavoidable, the second was still in a very tense period but at some point we need to draw the line! Or else next year we'll hear the same thing again, "what another year after this?" w ba3den???

So you're basically saying that because it's been stuck for years, let's just give up and accept that they're going to keep on screwing the people's right?
If they can't decide in one month and you just accept it, then what makes you think they would succeed in one year? If we let them, they'll keep on doing the same thing year after year while we discuss if it's the bigger or lesser evil. Enough is enough, I dont want the lesser evil, I want what's right, I want our rights to be respected.

Well that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but I chose to be optimistic and not give up on rightful demands.
And yes the presidency void lasted 2.5 years, but the parliament joke has been going on for way longer (last elections were in 2009!!)
Plus it seems we're narrowing down on the solution, at this point it's down to two options that are not so far from each other: full proportional for hezbollah, amal, mustaqbal and hybrid proportional for LF and FPM.
a compromise can easily be found if there is a will and if the people wills it

funny to see people here so anxious to have new electoral law bla bla bla... whetever the law , whatever the parliament, the situation will not change. when there is a majority, the opposition blocks the parliament or resigns from the gvt or blocks the gvt to impose their law or avoid a law to be passed... they all whine to be all represented in the gvt so what are elections for, tell me? LOL just need to appoint them as even with elections they will all impose the presence of the opposition in decision making! a law against hezbis? hezbis take the streets! a law against mostaqbal interest? they will block ! this country is ungovernable today... divide to conquer is lebanese politicians motto...lol
