الرياشي يطلق حملة إعلامية "لتخفيف التشنج" بين اللبنانيين والنازحين السوريين

أطلق وزير الإعلام ملحم الرياشي بالتعاون مع المفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين التابعة للامم المتحدة ومجموعة من الدول المانحة، حملة إعلامية مشتركة لتخفيف التشنج بين اللبناني المضيف والسوري النازح بعنوان "سوف اعود الى بلدي وأدعوك لزيارتي"، في قاعة الاجتماعات في وزارة الاعلام، وتستمر المرحلة الاولى ثلاثة اشهر.
وقال الرياشي "أهلا بكم مرة جديدة في وطنكم لبنان البلد المضياف الحريص على استقبال لائق لضيوف لبنان وتحديدا النازحين السوريين، ولكن لدينا مشكلة يجب حلها وهي عدم خلق حالات توتر بين النازحين واللبنانيين".
واكد ان "الحاجة ماسة الى حملة اعلامية واسعة للتوعية على كيفية التعامل بين المضيف والضيف"، مشيرا الى ان "الحملة ستشهد شهادات حية من لبنانيين يرحبون بالنازحين السوريين الى حين عودتهم الآمنة والأكيدة".
ولفت الرياشي الى أن "الأمم المتحدة اعلنت دعمها للحملة".
من جهتها، قالت المنسقة الخاصة للأمم المتحدة في لبنان سيغريد كاغ، ان "ما يقوم به الوزير الرياشي رسالة ايجابية تعكس قدرة لبنان ومرونته، ولا بد ان يسمع المجتمع الدولي بمعاناة لبنان الذي يقوم بالإستضافة بقلب مفتوح وكرم وحسن ضيافة".
واشارت الى "ان هناك توترا بين اللبناني والنازح السوري، ويبرز هذا التنافس في سوق العمل"، مضيفة "نريد التعاطي مع النازحين بطريقة لائقة ونريد لهم ايضا العودة الى بلادهم".
وخلصت الى القول "يجب تعزيز الحوار واطلاقه، ولوسائل الاعلام دور مهم جدا في هذا الخصوص. نريد ان نتعاون مع المجتمع المدني والهدف ازدهار لبنان وسلامة اراضيه".

Most lebanese live outside of lebanon. Many commit crimes in their host countries. How many lebanese who fled the civil war returned to lebanon?
There is no need to be racist and selfish. 100 years ago lebanese were pretty much syrians. Lebanese nationalism did not exist back then nor was it able to stop thousands and thousands of lebanese from becoming murdered/tortured/injured at the hands of another lebanese.
Fear God and be good to his creation, especially the poor, abused and suffering and immigrants. We are all the children of Adam and Eve. God helps those who help others. Obviously confirmed terrorists and trouble makers from all backgrounds should be punished but that should be done without racism and injustice.

How can we help others when we cannot help ourselves ? I understand the concerns of racism and unjust treatment, but even if these did not exist the situation is one that can only improve for everyone 1. if the refugees returned to their homes or 2. If we had a massive influx of cash to build infrastructure, create jobs and properly accommodate them. We know #2 is not happening anytime soon.
It's unfortunate that Lebanon has the bear the socioeconomic brunt of that terrible war when others have instigated it.

there's no need to build more homes and infrastructure, however there's a need to control the birth rate. There should be a ceiling and any family crossing that number of 2 children per couple = no citizenship and rights for the other kids.

Lebanon is a founding member of the UN. While Syria is not. Syria is an uneducated country. If you like them, in the same way as the "Ta7ya Suriya" go and live there happily ever.

Founding member of the UN as well as the Arab League. Syria is an uneducated country just like Southern Lebanon is... because only uneducated people choose darkness over light, dictatorship and theocracy over real democracy.
Historically speaking though, Baalbeck and its region should have remained part of Syria during the independence, but we certainly aren't going to complain for the "bonus" we got. But Syria lost Antioch as well... which was historically Syrian, people there now speak Turkish.... in other words Syrians are losers!
