باسيل يطرح قانون رفع السرية المصرفية ويستنكر "التلطي بالطوائف"

انتقد وزير الخارجية جبران باسيل "تلطي" البعض وراء الطوائف كلما تم فتح ملف فساد لشخص ما، واصفا الامر بـ"الابتزاز"، مقترحا من جهة اخرى قانون لكشف السرية المصرفية عن جميع من في الدولة.
وقال باسيل في مؤتمر صحفي عقده الثلاثاء "نطرح قوانين لتكون بمثابة الذراع القوي لمكافحة الفساد وهي قانون رفع السرية المصرفية الذي وقعه 10 نواب من تكتلنا، وقانون رفع الحصانة وقانون استعادة الاموال المنهوبة".
وأوضح "إن المعنيون بالقانون هم من رئيس الجمهورية الى اصغر أجير في الدولة اي من رأس الهرم الى اسفل الهرم مع ازواجهم واولادهم القاصرين ورفع السرية يتم تلقائيا".
وأضاف "لا مقاومة للفساد الا بالتشريع وكسر حالة الاستسلام وهذا هو التحدي امام النواب اليوم لاقرار القانون من دون ان يعني الامر ان كل مقتدر هو فاسد".
من جهة ثانية، انتقد باسيل ما وصفه بالتلطي بالطائفة عند فتح ملفات الفساد، غامزا من قناة مفتي الجمهورية الشيخ عبد اللطف دريان الذي دافع عن رئيس الحكومة السابق فؤاد السنيورة من السراي، قائلا ان "السنيورة خط أحمر".
وقال باسيل "التلطي بالطائفة دليل ضعف في ملف الفساد وأنا لا أقصد أي أحد بل أتحدث، بالإجمال ومعركتنا ليست مع أحد ولسنا معنيين بالدخول في نزاع طائفي وسنستمر بالمعركة ضد الفساد".
وتابع "هذا إسمه إبتزاز ولن نقبله".

If this government was or is serious about corruption it is very simple to do. Invite an independent company from outside of Lebanon such as Ernst & Young and give them free access to all the files at all levels of government going back 25 years and anybody who doesn't comply with any request coming from the auditors they will be jailed until such time as they do cooperate. I bet the money spent on the auditors will be recovered on the first month of the audit.

Bassil also revealed that the bloc intends to submit a draft law for combating the spread of “fake news.”

You guys apparently realize that to fight corruption is the same as fighting Christian privileges, starting with Article 24 of the Constitution: once they open the door, all the crud will come out.
