وزير خارجية بريطانيا يرى في المشاريع النووية الايرانية تهديدا بحرب باردة جديدة

اكد وزير الخارجية البريطاني وليام هيغ الجمعة ان الطموحات النووية لايران قد تؤدي الى نشوب "حرب باردة جديدة" اشد خطورة من الحرب السابقة بين البلدان الغربية والاتحاد السوفياتي في الماضي.
وقال هيغ في مقابلة نشرتها صحيفة ديلي تلغراف البريطانية "اذا تمكنت (ايران) من الحصول على مقدرات عسكرية نووية، اعتقد ان دولا اخرى في الشرق الاوسط سترغب في تطوير اسلحة نووية".
واضاف "التهديد بحرب باردة جديدة في الشرق الاوسط (...) سيكون كارثة على العالم".
والاربعاء، اقترح مسؤول عن ملف ايران للمفاوضات حول المسائل النووية سعيد جليلي على دول مجموعة 1+5 (الولايات المتحدة، روسيا، الصين، فرنسا وبريطانيا) الرد "في اسرع وقت" على المحادثات بشان البرنامج النووي الايراني "في اطار احترام حق ايران في استخدام سلمي للطاقة النووية".
واشادت الجمعة وزيرتا خارجية الاتحاد الاوروبي كاثرين اشتون والولايات المتحدة هيلاري كلينتون بتفاؤل حذر بهذا الاقتراح.
وردا على ما يثار بشان نية اسرائيل شن غارات على المواقع النووية الايرانية، اكد هيغ ان اي "هجوم عسكري" على ايران سيحمل "مخاطر هائلة".
واضاف "من الواضح جدا ان ما ننادي به ليس عملا عسكريا. نقوم باستراتيجية مزدوجة من العقوبات والضغوط من جهة والمفاوضات من جهة ثانية. لا نؤيد فكرة شن هجوم على ايران في هذا الوقت من اي جهة كانت".

Iran has its nukes, story over. All that can be done now is to isolate Iran with its nukes by breaking the land bridge that runs from Tehran to the Eastern Med.
This means Syria. The world should support the Syrian people, not just for the sake of their martyrs but for the sake of all people who wish to contain the Persian nuclear bomb, for the sake of the rest of the world that values human life, human rights and the rule of law.
