He was saying : More like we need the expats money, to keep feeding the mafias in Lebanon.

Give us the right to vote. or anyhow, we will go down there to vote a new generation that want peace and want to build a nation that will kick out all the war lords!

My fellow Shiite brother in pretending to be Christian , actually the Magnificent parliament speaker Nabih Berri and his eminence SHN are the ones obstructing ex-pat's vote

" Change and Reform bloc MP Nematallah Abi Nasr said on Friday that Lebanese nationals residing abroad will not be able to vote from their countries of residence as long as Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Shami and Director General of Emigrants Haitham Jamaa remain in their posts . Shami and Jamaa are against safeguarding the interests of the emigrants and only care about emigration in Africa ”

Ali Shami = Adnan Mansewer = SSDD

when will he pledge for more important matters as the rights of lebanese women? they still have to ask the permission of their husband to open a bank account, they cannot give their nationality as if they were second class citizens, they have to ask permission of their husband to travel ....

he d better improve the rights of lebanese citizens first who live in lebanon...and then think of those abroad!

So according to you Lebanese living abroad are in fact second class citizens.

Missing peace 16:38 ,2012

the problem is Harriri and M14 will not accept it since they will not be able to influence the results by offering free tickets to their supporters, and this will mean their certain loss

Yes, I can only see positive results out of this, taking in consideration the democracy aspects.

Politicians wont be able to fly in supporters, win by giving "tanket zeit" or winning by harassment of voters staying in line or harassment of candidates that breaks the normal "order".

Examples are candidates that wanted to compete against Murr and Nabih Berri...

FlameThrower my fellow Shiite brother in smelling like feet , the Lebanese living abroad are illiterate imbeciles easily manipulated by the Zionist media . Unlike the intelligent ones we have here educated by Al Manar and the magnificent GMA's Photoshopped evidence or the splendid Wiam Wahhab's forged documents exposing Jarrah's Arms to the Syrian terrorists or the gorgeous Walid Moualem's fake videos proof of the Egyptian Syrian security member lynched by a Lebanese mob Syrian terrorists .

Flame Thrower....where did you get your stupid idea that most diaspora is brainwashed by zionist media. When we get to vote, march 14 will have 3 seats in parliament.

Missing ulpianus 14:37 ,2012

you are wrong about that FT. Well I dont blame you thinking the diaspora is brainwashed, because of the fact that they are living in the west. But the truth is, the Diaspora is a mirror of Lebanon, and many still talk the same way they did in Lebanon when it comes to politics.
Kataeb being Kataeb, Hezb. being hezb and so on. As in some countries, the Lebanese are more extreme than the ones left in Lebanon. Specielly the ones that left during the civil war, still think like the Lebanese did in that era.

So, in other words, its a very complex "group" with endless subgroups.

M14 is all for it and honest Lebanese should also support it. I think we should all agree that Lebanese abroad are also what Lebanon is all about, diverse, hard working, patriotic, financially supporting families and country etc...So to M8 people stop your hate and join us at least on this issue for the sake of Lebanon.

FPM is totally supporting this law so if Harriri means well it'll pass

Where i live here, over the Atlantic, there are few Lebanese, not brainwashed at all, we all would like to vote for a new generation...a complete overhaul is needed for the Lebanese system and mindset...there is a little hope...

Ok, now expatriates can vote--now give them parties whose leaders are neither corrupt, criminals, or agents of a foreign power. That's the trick which the politicians have no answer.
